It is all relative

Sunrise over Miami

I woke up early enough this morning to see the last vestiges of the sunrise.

Just spent a quiet day in, the temperature is a record-breaking 88 degrees today, feeling like the mid-'90s and humidity is in the 60s again.   We found the hotel has a laundromat, so freshened up all our clothes, ready to arrive at the cruise ship tomorrow.  We also finally got our room assignment, as we had just booked a guaranteed cabin.  No lifeboats blocking our view on this one, we are up on the 15th deck

Watching this evening's local news there was a Cold Front Alert for tomorrow.  Well, apparently in this part of the world a "cold front" has a slightly different meaning!  There apparently have been record heat temperatures since we have been here, but tomorrow, a cold front is moving in.  The temperature will be 79 Fahrenheit, tomorrow morning!!  We will have to turn down the air conditioner, and turn the heat on for the night!  And I didn't bring any clothes for those chilly temps!!
